Launch Services Woes

Anybody else having recurring problems with Launch Services? (See screenshot)

This little glitch happens every two days or so. Sometimes (for example, when using "Open With..." on a .png file), I'll have a list full of "WebKit" repeated over and over, sometimes It'll just be Coda repeated ad infinitum instead, and another day it'll be any other application, and sometimes I'll get a mix of repeated applications, like what I've got now.

I have a strong feeling that this corruption is related to AppStore updates (Evernote and Coda 2 received updates yesterday).

I'm finding myself rebuilding the Launch Services DB every few days because of this, it's getting annoying and a little worrying.

Any ideas what could be truly causing this or how to fix it?

You can try this to remove the double entries:

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

Yes, that's what I meant by rebuilding the Launch Services DB. I have to do this every few days and it's getting tedious.
