T Tomkins! macrumors regular Original poster Aug 8, 2012 #1 Launchpad can't delete apps in ML. Is it a bug or a deliberate change?
TheMaJa macrumors newbie Aug 8, 2012 #2 Can't confirm that. My Launchpad can delete Apps in 10.8, only apps from the store of course (as in 10.7).

R ReflexReact macrumors 6502 Aug 8, 2012 #4 I have the same issue, cannot delete apps from launch pad. I can only delete apps I downloaded and installed manually. So how exactly are we meant to delete apps we download and install manually?! Why is it always so difficult with Apple?

That's how you delete an app that wasn't downloaded from the appstore.

T Tomkins! macrumors regular Original poster Aug 9, 2012 #9 It was a bug. I logged into another account. That account could delete an app from launchpad. Logged back into my own account, and now my account can do it again.
