Hi!
First of all I apologize if the following question have already been posted somewhere on the forum, but I have looked and not found it.
If it anyway is here somewhere I can only say I missed it since I am new here and don't yet understand the structure here...

Anyway, back to the question:
I was about to buy a MBP, but I was held back by the seller, who said there were rumors about a new release, and a searched the web and found this place...
I have gathered as much that there is a presumed event on Tuesday 14 of October, and that there are different "bids" on how soon after that the new products will be available.
The question I would like to have answered is at what time this release/unveiling will be. I understand it is hard to tell since it seems no one can say for sure there will even be one, but at what time do they usually happen?

I am of course interested also in what features will be available, but I rather know about that than speculate (hence I will see when released), so please keep this tread free from speculations of that kind, I only want to have "a clue" about when I can expect the unveiling to be done and I can find the release(s) at Apple store, and there decide what to order...

ps. if you give a time, please specify timezone, since I presume the unveiling to be some convenient time in EST(US) or something, and I live in a CET area

I hope my not so good English will suffice for you to understand my question...

The event starts 10AM PST (1800 GMT), on October 14th.

When it finishes all depends on what is being shown. It could be 15 minutes, it could be 2 hours.

Event on Tuesday; availability can be as soon as immediate all the way to 3 weeks (like the MacBook Air and Time Capsule).

If the new releases are not available for shipping right away, do you think they will be available for preorder or "ships asap".
I ask since my "local" Apple store have drives on Ipods and printers until end of October...

ps. thanks for fast answers
