I had a lava lamp when I was a bit younger. I stored it on it's side in a box for a month when my family was preparing to move and upon unpacking, the lava lamp was bone dry... just the orange goo was left. No clear liquid for it to float in. 🙁 It was a sad day. haha.

P.S. I hope this is the type of lava lamp you are referring to and not some thing else; I will look quite dumb otherwise! haha. 😎

The death of incondesent light bulbs might just kill off lava lamps. Those thing are just as dependent on the heat as they are on the light.......

At the very least, the lava lamp will need a redesign.

i agree about the lame design, i would like to see a nice clean sleek lava lamp design.. but mine works great for the price.
its relaxing.

I bought a new one a couple of years ago. For some reason I thought we needed one, but it hardly ever gets used. The poor lamp. 🙁
