Yeah what's the latest on this. Have they annoucned a time when it will be back up and the problems all fixed?

How good/usable is this app given the 3GS compass (at least on my device) is totally unreliable half the time?

I mean seriously, did you ever try to rotate your 3GS and had it consistently pointing the exact spot as being north, in a single "compassig" session?

Joking aside, the 3GS compass won't always point to the same "north" spot, that's all I meant.

Try to locate north with the 3GS compass and notice where the pointer is pointing, then rotate the device in your hand by a 20-30 degrees. The pointer doesn't return to the exact same spot it was before you rotated the device. You will most likely see that the "new north" it's pointing to is slighlty off the old one.

Hope this makes sense, I am not a native speaker.
