lcd burn in?

hi guys.
i have my new monitor which is great but i was wondering about screen burn.

Do lcd's get it? i am worried because i have got my background changing every 5 mins, but there are things that stay stationary on the screen that i am concerned that they will burn in and thus ruin my screen. I did a goggle search about it but did not really give me a clear answer.

any help is good. thanks....

Yes. Just don't leave it on for 4-5 hours straight with the same windows open and you'll be fine.

You know you are taking this way too seriously... LCD burn ins do occur but AFAIK they tend to 'heal'
And it takes a lot.. lot of time for a burn in! 5 hours is a lot of time for you to stick your monitor on posing the desktop without a screensaver, window change or even stand by!

Use energy saver to turn off your monitor after 30mins of inactivity, or what ever is convenient 🙂
