I've had my macbook for less than a year and only this week it started giving me major problems. The LCD is jumbled and there are random lines everywhere, but if I apply some small pressure to the back of the LCD (as if i were going to close the notebook) the screen looks perfect, only to return to unusable upon letting go of the screen. This seems like a problem with some kind of connection in the hinge or the flex cable for the LCD. Is this a common problem, and is there a known fix for it? I am out of warranty I think.
