Is it common Imac's show problems in LCD? I am reading many users complaining about it even the Imac is new (less than 6 months).

What is the reason so many problems?

Thank you.

I haven't had any problems.

If you own one and have problems, call Apple. If you don't own one but are considering buying one, your warranty lasts a year and will cover this. I don't really know what kind of problems you're referring to, though.

Edit: I see that having to wait one hundred minutes for a response was quite agonizing for you. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. Please, have a cookie.

I have owned 10 iMacs since Apple began using LCD's in them. 2 have had minor problems (one had a yellow tint and the other had abnormally uneven backlighting). Both times, Apple replaced the computer without question.
