LCD iMacs Confirmed For Macworld SF 2002

Bigger screen!
that is the best part.. I refused to by an ibook, and got a pismo 500 soley because of the screen. 14.1 is a minimum on any port with a dvd player.. unless of course movies aren't watched, but still, os x is so beautiful! I want to make it big!
i did hear the ibooks will be getting bigger screens though.. which actually makes sense, why should it be left out and have the smallest screen of all of apple's products.. save ipod... 13.7 on the ibook? still not great, but doable..it's about like the current imac's viewable area..
i hope the imac2 reaches over 1ghz,, but it will probably be 700 - 933 with a low end sub $800 with a 5-600 mhz.. even with an lcd... not a bad deal if it makes.
i just can't see apple going part way with the lcd's. it will be all models or nothing.
the only way you will be able to get new imac crt's is if they do like the 533Mhz G4 tower on the education site.

imac 2 maybe.. but probably not even that.
i do think there is good chance for a g4, and if so, then a superdrive in the top end. give the consumer the use for imovie2.. (not jmovie.. imovie2, you idiots)

I agree totally with DannyZR2. Apple loves those "first" things. Look, they show off that every display the sell (i'm talking seperately from the computer of course) is LCD. If the iMac becomes LCD, Apple can show off to other computer makers that it's ENTIRE line is made up of LCD's!
