As i got my Ipad mini digitizer replacement I went ahead and disassembled the ipad. Everything went fine.

However, now the LCD screen just stays black and wont turn on.

I can hear a sound when i connect it to the charger and Itunes detects the Ipad. I have tried to restore it with itunes and disconnect the battery, still nothing on the screen.

I stumbled upon This, could it be anything like that maybe? (as he got the backlight problem i would think of another fuse or something?)

Any ideas?

Update: I just noticed that when the screen is supposed to be on there is actually light from the back of the lcd? I can see white light especially around the corners in the back of the lcd. In the front of the lcd i can barely see the difference.

Have you tried a hard reset I have noticed when you repair iPads if you plug the LCD in while the device is turned on the lcd stays really dim until you hard reset the device....let me know
