This is really the only game I play on PC anymore, and I play it quite a lot. (cept for a WoW trial)

Does anyone know how it's been running on rMBPs? I've heard different results, didn't know if it was cuz the retina models and regular models. Don't wanna switch just yet if it isn't working well with the scaler on the rMBP.

Yah, has anyone played LOL on the last models and had good results? Just trying to get a ballpark on how the game will look.

I don't have a rMBP (but a 15" MBP from 2011), and considering the title of this thread... LoL runs fine on it under Mavericks.

I have a 1st gen RMBP (8gb version) and since updating to Mavericks, i get crazy lag spikes and sometimes my fps drops to 11-15. Before the update, I'd never lag and would constantly get 60fps @ 1440x resolution and high quality settings.

    its driving me nuts!

That's to bad. There can be delays between the developer and the OS. I heard that lol was having issues with some people on windows 8.1 as well.

I've been discussing this on the main forums. Apparently until they finish with internal testing to fix any issues, it helps to not run the game in full screen. Try that anyways, could help. They also suggested no vsync but I find the game looks like crap when I do that, I'm a vsync kinda guy.

Playing this on my 2013 Air i5 with 8gb

All settings are on Very High @ 1440x900 except shadows which are set to medium.

The only time I get a dip is during a full on 5v5 team fight but it only goes down to 48 fps. Otherwise it's consistently 60fps+.

I just play on all low settings at 900p but I still worry about switching to Mavericks lol. But they also said the "Automatic graphics switch" under energy preferences may have been switched and the reason for lag is its playing on the intergrated graphics. Make sure thats gonna set to run with the vcard if you haven't yet.
