I had to chuckle when I saw this on Wired yesterday. MacRumors...rumors?
I know, I'm thinking a spin off site is needed.

I'm going to go start a new thread, 'Waiting for MacRumors Redesign'.
They really need a facelift. Macrumors is by far the ugliest website that I visit.

We're not convinced that vBulletin 4 is appropriate for us yet, and any forum updates would very likely be separate from updates to the news side of things.

the site is starting to look a little dated, mainly in the last 6 months I think were good quality looking sites are now the norm
However, a site like gdgt.com I find difficult to navigate so keep it like this!

Make sure Page 2 stays as prominent as it is now, as the homepage and Page 2 are really what I visit most often. Occasionally the iPhone page or MacBytes sections, but not nearly as often as Page 2. Also, make sure it's still easy to render on an iPhone, and I don't mean a special mobile page. I like reading full rich pages but don't want them to take extra long to load due to useless graphics and animations. Lastly, make sure Page 3 gets an update, there haven't been any new rumors on there in a while. What about a story about Apple buying the govetnment and offering the iHouse in both a White House and a Black House model?

I think MacRumors should be unique I have found too many forums that have the same color and layout. It would be nice too see something different. XD

Naw I have been around since the first of the year, I just didnt join till I got my first MAC, i was looking around before hand to see what would be right for me.
I think MR should change to this, which is what I see anyway when I'm at work. Stupid web filters.
