Another boring “S” year. Boring OS, outdated hardware, outrageous price. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 6T is looking really exciting. 9 years of iPhone but this may be the year I finally see what the Android hype is all about.

Bugger, that means I won't be able to buy a new iPad Pro in the Back-To-School promo.

Too bad apple seems incapable of keeping secrets anymore.

Apple purposely "leaks" these things. Even the most basic digital marketer understands the significance of a sitemap. That's how you tell Google and other search engines about your website. You don't just accidentally update it thinking no one will notice. This was purposely done to create hype before the keynote. Look at all the articles and discussion going on because of it. Tons of free press for Apple.

Well I guess they will have to spend most of the time presenting and explaining this new naming convention... No more time remaining for ipad presentation... And especially for Ipad X-Pro-Res max, ipad Mini-maxi-Pro, ipad Medium-X....

Bummer... I was cautiously optimistic we'd see new iPads. Still... looking forward to new phone releases so I can get the 8 a bit cheaper.

So this event will be another really big yawner where 20 minutes of information is drawn out over 2 hours.

No real new products (I don't consider new sizes of an existing product as a new product).
I find the best option do something more interesting whilst this is on then just look at their website for a summary. Then check apple developer for any new betas.

That maybe so but I don't like it. Seems like that is what any run of the mill company would do. Apple used to be different.

So all they're gonna introduce is an iPhone 5.8" that is literally exactly the same as last year's but available in Gold colour and with a 10% faster processor. Wow.

Apple realized that by "leaking" information in the day before or day of the Keynote, they could create a ton of extra hype and press. This has only benefited them. There's a reason they keep doing it. Wouldn't you get your audience even more charged up, excited, and talkative about your event if you could and it cost you nothing?

It’s not just intentional leaks the days before an event. It’s leaks months in advance.

I need a new iPad Pro and was looking forward to it’s being announced. Looking forward to next month to see what they do. Hoping it will be announced then.
