Apple typically shows the product name, and then a screen with just the apple logo (unless "Apple" is part of the product name like Apple Watch and Apple TV). this is obviously fake.

I'm good with no design change. I just want all the improvements to sound quality and battery life/longevity they can fit in the same form factor.

Awesome - more Siri! Not...

Hey Siri, how do you say hello in French.

Sorry, I can’t translate Canadian English into French.

Hey Siri, can you find me xxxx restaurant, here is what I found on the web on restaurants.

—- basic functions google now can do, Siri can’t. It’s a disgrace. Why do I want to use Siri? Why? To hear a silly response?

Wish Apple had real leadership :(

Who would be any better to lead Siri?

The multi-color background probably suggests more colors. That is usually the case with Apple.
Especially throwing white ones into the colour, however given that she is wearing them and throwing just the case it could mean that white airpods with coloured cases, which would fit Apple's design aesthetic.

There is no sign of black AirPods in either video, despite rumors suggesting Apple is working on a black color.

Without comment on the legitimacy of the videos, I don't see the absence of the black AirPods as indicative of anything. They're physically small, so if you want recognition, you stick to the more familiar looking ones; and even on someone of rather pale tone, the white ones might be more obvious than black ones.

The notion of a non-slip coating is interesting; the challenge would be to have it work enough to be an improvement and be durable (not to mention non-toxic), but never rub one raw or otherwise be irritating where it came in contact with skin; nor cling to dirt and lint. An easy idea until you think about what it would take to get it right. Silicone...except that would discolor with skin oils eventually, and I'm not sure that it could be thin enough and durable, not to mention that if it was clingy, it would have some of the other problems.

Continuing...low availability now will probably prevent low availability during the holiday season. Thusly, selling more.

Assuming that demand will be reduced significantly or that production can be ramped up by then to meet demand. Either way, makes sense to release them soonish.

I don’t own a pair mainly because of how stupid they look in ones ear.

People in the ‘80s didn’t wear clothes without 17 inch shoulder pads because they looked stupid to other people.

So, err, I guess I’ve just confirmed your point. But at least you conformed. Now get those goddamn tampons in your ears so you’re not shunned by society.

Update: The "leaked Apple ad" has turned out to be a marketing stunt from a marketing company. It was specifically made in Apple's style with a fake back story for the purpose of deceiving rumor sites. We apologize for sharing the video and for the confusion.
Yup. Seems about right...

Might look more normal if one put them in one’s ears.

At the very least you’d benefit from better stereo separation...

Most people stop caring so much about how others perceive their “look” after high school. As you grow up you’ll be less influenced by your peers. Hang in there... it’ll get better when you get to college, as everyone starts finding their own way and stops worrying so much about what others might think of them!
