Nothing wrong with redundancy right? Current time capsules are too small for all that data both organizations are processing.
I do not care about the government messing up with the data of my devices, I actually would think there is something wrong if they are wasting their time in doing so.

The real question is who are they targeting? It sounds like they want eyes and ears in every home in the country to me. It really has nothing to do with terrorism at all. I won't go so far as to say it's impossible for apple products to be used in such activity but a great many of those involved seem to come from poor backgrounds.
Have you ever seen what happens when you try to restrain a child against their will? They squirm. They wriggle. They rebel. The same thing happens to humankind in general. The more laws, restrictions, boundaries, rules and consequences placed onto society only helps to create an equal repelling force in the form of rebellion and "unlawful" behaviour. The question we all need to keep asking is "do these law-enforcing and protection agencies operate within the law, serving the people, or above it, serving their own agenda?"
Yes, and the person you quoted was only talking about America. Nowhere did he suggest he was talking about the rest of the world. Do you want him to research and compile a thesis discussing government hacking in all 195 UN-recognized countries?
I support Apple and other companies that stick it to the 'man.' I want less government in my life not more.

Seems you didn't get it, the US is not only spying on US citizen only, that's why I said the world is bigger than America.
Good thing we have Gatekeeper introduced in Lion which prevent unsigned apps from launching. An infected copy of XCode would not launch without you specifically disabling Gatekeeper.
