Check out this leaked page, it has since been changed back. It could look like this when the new iBooks are introduced.

ibook link

edit: it appears that the 14 inch is only in widescreen.

looks pretty sweet to me. I recon there will be a huge 14'' ws iBook following created if this is indeed the case.

aww I wish it was real...but I don't think apple would be allowed to bluntly display the "subaru" without some sort of advertising contract with them.

Why would it say, "See everything in widescreen" when it introduces a computer that is not widescreen? The 12" stands the test of time. Both books do look thinner though. Hopefully someone was just bored in PS.

Also wanted to add this thought. Not only was the image leaked, but the hot news headline was too? Seems fishy. Waiting for 13.3", -t

Hm....

the text in the "hot news" ticker looks slightly different.
I call PS.

or will I be eating my pants on tuesday?
(I think thats the phrase...)

News Headline= FAKE
As my original thought was, the 14 inch will be the only one in widescreen but this looks fake.

Surely not! If it was it would be all over the front page of MR, and thinksecret would be on it as well. Seems like someone was just messin' around in PS.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens on Tuesday (or whenever they're released). Be funny if this is really is true though.

Also, if the widescreen 14" iBook really has the physical dimensions shown, that keyboard looks like it's waaaaay too wide to me.

EDIT: Also, look at the edges of the image on the 14" iBook's "screen," on the bottom and right. Clearly PS'd....

The tagline, "See everything is widescreen." does appear to be in Myriad Pro, the font Apple uses right now. I took a screen shot of the text and typed out the tag line in that font and matches up reasonable accurately.

But, on the 500,000,000 pic at the bottom, "e" in "Store" is too close to the edge and I doubt Apple's designers would do that. And there also appears to be some sort of "graphics" on the sides of the picture about 1 pixel wide. It's too sloppy.

Then what, mkrishnan, added about the iBook's screen only supports this bad "Photoshoping" theory.

I dont know about this.
I have no clue why this would be posted on Apple.com then taken off. I cant see any reasonable explanation for why this would be leaked.
And yeah, I see in the bottom right of the 14" iBook how the picture doesnt exactly line up.

Just thought of something, the only thing on the bottom 4 sqaure links that has changed is the 500,000,000 thing. If you look at it, it doesnt have that thin gray border, and you can half see an image behind the imported picture

My Conclusion: PHOTOSHOP
