I agree.

There isn't anything wrong with a shameless plug.

It does actually look like the iPad dock connector.

I firmly believe these iPhone pictures are of a prototype and aren't a final design.

I do also believe that this should have been posted in the pre-established "rumored iPhone 4G pictures" thread.

Go post it there.

The dock connector looks similar, but the buttons on the side look nothing alike. Something tells me that Apple would have used the new buttons on the iPad if they were going to use them on the new iPhone, but you never know...
