^^^'twas wondering about that. The camera lens is protruding in these pics and my understanding was that Apple was going to make it flush with the 6s.

Your understanding is incorrect. Camera rings have already leaked (in rose gold no less, with a matching rose gold home button ring).
OK, I will meet you half way and say the pink and white bands are nasty. Worst it would have a white bezel, nasty.
I could care less about the bands but no way I would put up with the white bezel much less the faded out pick. It is all moot anyway
They really should make the front black, bands on the back black and have the touchID match be rose. Would I buy this device in that color? I'm not a gold person, I like space grey but if it was more or less a copper color rather then with a pink hue I would probably bite. But I don't plan to buy the next phone anyway, waiting for "7"
OK. But does the camera ring still stick out? I hate that it does. One of the handful of things I already hate my iPhone 6+ for.

Looks fake. There is nothing stopping from someone Photoshopping this to make it a different color.
I really wish Apple went back to black or dark gray, the current space gray is more like silver.

From what I understand of the Rose Gold is it could be a darker more red tinted gold giving a more bronze appearance.
This pink aint awful and is a more feminine colour to attract a wider consumer base but I don't think if it ever did see the light of day would be for me.

Gross. I know this is fake, but still. Pink is disgusting, just keep the three colors we have now.
What's the problem with having it for those that might like it? Those who don't can still choose the other existing colors.
Well in my opinion, it looks cheap and would make the iPhone seems like a cheap phone. Look at some other manufacturers like Samsung. They come out with these weird colors like Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue that look completely tacky. That's how I think the pink looks: Tacky and cheap.
Glad someone else noticed!! I love the way my iPad Air 2 looks, but I have noticed that the space gray back is lighter than my old iPad mini 2. I like the darker space gray personally. I would like it if they did more with the black screens as well.
no one will know for sure until next month, but they looked distinctly rose gold and not pink. Also the bag was labeled '6S Rose Gold' in Chinese.
Some find the gold color that way, or some other colors. Doesn't really make them so though.
Only "new" color Apple needs is an actual Black iPhone 6S.
