Apple is expected to hold a virtual event on Tuesday, March 8, and alongside possible new products like a new iPhone SE and iPad Air models, new iPhone case colors could also be on the menu.

Twitter user "Majin Bu" has shared images of the alleged new MagSafe cases that Apple will release for the iPhone 13. There are four new colors in total, including yellow, orange, light blue, and midnight green. The official names of the cases have not been shared.

Apple often refreshes iPhone case and Apple Watch band colors on a seasonal basis, and the cases are likely to be added to Apple's online store following its spring event. The March 8 event has yet to be officially announced, but Apple is expected to confirm it in the next few days.

Pipped to the post by .... well hundreds of companies actually. And cheaper too.

I love it. It was an immediate "I want that one!" when I saw the photos.

Also really hopeful that there will be an associated Watch Sport Band / Solo Loop in this colour – I missed out on 'Flash' and 'Flash Light'.

Also, this is a slight return of the Apple that brought us the 'Key Lime' iBook 😍

No white color? wtf? I’ve been waiting to get my silicone white case and I just can’t believe that, after releasing white Magic Keyboards and white bezels on the Macs (which I love, frankly, it’d done elegantly with a shade of grey rather than pure ”jarring/in-your-face” white), what drives them not to release the white case for the first time ever?
Yes, I have the MagSafe battery pack (white) and I have OCD of not being able to match it with the equivalente white case… What the…

Good to have more colours in the collection. I am more interested in some new colours for watch bands though.

These are the worst, cost 60$ for a cheap case that’ll rip apart in 2 months
My Apple silicone case has been lasting much longer now that the 13pro cases wraps around the entire outside (older ones didn't fully cover the bottom of the phone). In the past they would start falling apart by about 6mo, but Apple usually swaps it out for a new one if that happens.

These are cool and everything but I just wish Apple made less expensive cases. The price they charge for a silicone case is insane. There are too many excellent cases out there to justify paying 4x the price just to get the little Apple on the back.

Hi, has apple released new colors in leather iphone cases for spring collection in the past? I’m looking for a new model in blue less dark than current midnight blue, which is almost black…

I love the yellow case. I hope they realease a matching sport band because I will buy both. The purple is basically a silicone version of the purple leather case. The green and orange are decent. I might consider the green as well, but I’ll have to see how it looks in reviews.

The silicone material is different on recent original cases, the silicone on the 12 and 13 Pro Max is more fragile than before, and it depends on the Apple Store, sometimes you can´t exchange an original peeling case because they tell you is regular wear&tear.

I´ve had a lot of Apple Original silicone cases since the iPhone 6, and can tell the difference on this new cases, even the leather cases are low quality for Apple Quality Standar... just check this forum

(Sorry for my bad english grammar).

Afraid to say I disagree with this.

I've had  silicone cases for iPhones as far back as 2014 and if anything, the ones for more recent iPhone models have been of an improved quality (for example, in my experience less likely to go shiny so quickly, or have areas where skin oils / cleaning products build-up).

Regarding them falling to bits after 2 months, I had one on my iPhone 12. It lasted 6 months before it started peeling and I walked in the Apple Store and got a replacement free of charge without any arguments.

The really damn annoying thing is as it was a Capri Blue one it attracted unholy amounts of bees for some reason
In my experience they’ve been rubbish as well. I’ve owned 2 silicone cases and 2 of the silicone battery cases (for the iPhone 6s). The battery case was actually replaced be cause it was falling apart.

The look good and feel nice but one drop or nick and they split and form there the out layer just peels off slowly.

I definitely prefer the leather cases now.

Honestly the silicon case is quite durable and very pleasant to the touchz
You might dislike the look (fair enough), but it's not a bad product.

The quality of these has definitely decreased. Manufacturing defects have increased. I have had personal experience in corners peeling, silicone coming off the Apple logo on silicone models and dents on the leather models. It's a shame because I have always loved using official cases - but I am disappointed by the current models.
