has anyone noticed that underneath the apple logo there is a faint line indicating the copy and pasting of a picture? very un-Apple like

Wow, this was a blast from the past. This was before the iPad was released. They were playing around with specs back then. Intel was still in the running back in 2008. It's just that they pitched the Core 2 Duo back then and it was utter crap. Intel was great for high power, high processing but sucked at battery conservation/ULV, and ARM based architecture. Looking back at the specs, the Modbook back then was basically the iSlate. I wish they still made newer modbooks because they are really useful for photographers/graphic artists.

Really old bump I say.

I am glad the iPad did not turn into that. It would be like the laptop I replace it with. Heavy, Hot, Bulky, 0 Battery Life.

take them with the biggest pinch of salt ever conceived by man.

My guess is that it is real but real in that some Tech Blogger back in 2010 was speculating on rumors that Apple was about to release a tablet like device. The red flag here is the name "iSlate". The name iSlate was tossed around in the news way before the announcement of the 1st Gen iPad.

If this is implying that Apple is working on a 7" iPad Mini, it is not the case. These specs were just a wild guess about a possible Apple tablet back in 2010, nothing more.

You mean people still thought it was real after reading core 2 duo and still thought it was real after the super drive? LoL

Obviously a fake but Apple has done such a great job with iOS they really need to get into the slate market.

Still think to this day that iSlate would have been a better name.

The only thing that pops up in my head when I read iSlate...
