Leaker Pushes Back on Rumors of Pro iPhone's Return to Titanium

Based on my understanding, Apple could have adopted a similar approach to Samsung and incorporated a vapour chamber in the 15-16 series. Samsung used titanium in the S25 Ultra, which also featured a vapour chamber. Therefore, I don’t see why Apple wouldn’t consider doing the same.

I would happily buy an iPhone built out of titanium or aluminum that guaranteed no AI, inside or outside, ever.

We’re constantly getting compromises. iPhones have gotten bigger because they can’t make batteries last longer. Now, the most expensive product they offer has aluminum and scratch-and-scuff magnets.

I know I sound like an old man, but I’m sticking to my 15 Pro as long as Apple Care is available. Then, I’ll put a case on it and keep it as long as it can still work.

Don't know whether Titanium will make a comeback for Pro iPhone but the 20th anniversary model could have significant changes and it is possible for Titanium to make a comeback. Would like to see a polished titanium frame like the one in iPhone Air.

I use my iPhone 15 Pro Max with AI all the time. I actually run more AI on it than I do on most of my other devices. I’ve had zero issues with it. I’m sure I’m not running enough AI to satisfy some people but the comment that it barely ran. AI is not accurate from my experience

As an iPhone Air user I can confirm the titanium is the best looking and strongest iPhone I’ve ever used. I literally drop this on everything including concrete and it doesn’t break, crack or even scratch! It’s the perfect formula. I hope the iPhone fold uses the same titanium build as the Air.

If the iPhone 16 Pro had higher-res cameras, I would've upgraded to the titanium iPhone in a heartbeat.

There are different aluminum alloys with better quality.Its obvious Cost is an issue

Part of Apples logic may be that most people put the iPhone in a case so the exposure to scratching and chipping is less
