Anybody else expecting big leaks today? Seems like this year apple has kept leaks to a minimum for once besides the ad leaks a month ago. Prior to every year before this year has been very light imo.

It wasn’t a month ago for those two major leaks from Apple with the iPhone photo and Series 4 photo on August 30, otherwise everything seems to be a little bit more tempered. Last year, quite a few leaks occurred through the HomePod code that was released. I don’t expect much to leak today before the keynote, but again, I think we already know what to expect primarily moving forward for Wednesday, The unknown factor is the iPads if they launch now or later.

It’s an ‘s’ year upgrade, which usually means improvements in software/new functions/chips/speed/graphics etc. Rather than the main upgrade years which focus mostly on new hardware/design/form factor.

And it’s hardware design that gets leaked more often.

Hopefully that means some surprises on Wednesday!

Im not sure there is much else left to leak?! we've seen the pictures, know the specs, see the watch. an own goal of a year for apple leaking their own images

even the previous s model years there was more hardware leaking and more software. this year seems rather low compared to previous.
Have we see real + size model leaks besides the front glass this years. not many 6.1" leaks either? No rear or any other parts leak. Same with the watch with new bigger screen. besides what apple leaked on its own there's not much. but we never really got many watch leaks previous years.

What more is there to leak? We’ve all seen the three models that will officially be revealed tomorrow, just like every other year.

Apple “leaks” exactly what they want to generate hype.

I remember the x last year there was leaks on twitter with them in a few peoples hands and lots of people calling it fake. also, parts leak from June for the X

I think this year apple trick everybody , alot leak not feeling accurate , >> my feeling tell that apple will show us huge things technology tomorrow and that havent leak yet , :D

The whole order page for the iPhone 9 leaked quite recently showing the orange and blue colours - that’s pretty well the last thing that hadn’t already either leaked or been confirmed by supply chain sources. I think there was also a ‘group shot’ of the new lineup showing the 6s and 8 series are being axed, so there will be the 7, 9 and Xs on offer after tomorrow... that makes me wonder if the 9 will have the A11 chip rather than the A12?

Well I still don’t know exactly what the gold XS will look like. Is it bright gold, beige or a sort of blush makeup color? Does it have the exact same dimensions as the X so I can use my old cases for it? Some folks say yes, some case manufacturers have lineups that indicate “no.”

Exactly what markets will be getting the dual sim capable models? Will the XS be left out of dual sim capability altogether?

Can any of these models finally record stereo audio for videos like many high end Android phones have been doing for years? Has the audio improved at all? The quality has appeared to me to be the same for years.

Did Apple do anything to address the issue of the flash being too close to the lens and causing eyes to look strange in flash photography and video?

Precisely what improvements have been made to the camera? Do they have new AI software tricks up their sleeves to rival what we see on the Pixel 2?

Will the new models lay to rest the problems caused for many users by PWM flicker? (I don’t expect the Keynote to address this directly, but Apple may brag on some display tweaks that will indirectly speak to the issue.)

Has Apple decided to go with the same method of darkening the stainless steel band on the phones as they use for their watches? I forget the exact terminology, but whatever they use for the watches makes the dark finish more durable than what we’ve seen on the phones.

How did they achieve the gold color? Will Jony reveal that they mixed genuine Angel halo extract with steel and Revlon Medium Powder Blush to get unique shades of gold only Apple’s meticulous design process can achieve? Inquiring minds want to know.

Incremental upgrades still hold their fair share of fascination for me. I am always hopeful to see old annoyances addressed.

That would be a fantastic addition to the iPhones.

That’s on top of my wish list (well appart from non-flickering screen so there is a chance I can buy the phone at all). Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any 120hz oled panels on the market

Exactly.

A lottttt if you are saying “what is there to leak?”

Literally every single year actual parts leak. Logic board, camera, battery etc.

We have noooo part leaks. It’s not because “there’s nothing worth leaking”. It’s because Apple was actually serious about tightening up.

Thank you. I really can’t stand the people that say “there’s nothing to see. everything leaked.” Really? No.

There’s plenty to see and questions to be answered.

I think that leaks tend to deal with physical parts mainly and none of that has really changed from last year. We get speculation on the functionality improvements and the occasional leak via a beta but I think this year has been largely standard leaks wise.
