Is there a site or program that teaches you Objective-C (for iOS) step by step like Code Academy? I was directed to this site from another thread and it works great for learning Java and HTML. Is there anything like this for Objective-C?

One of the problems that I had a while back, was finding sites/blogs that were up to date. Someone did the entire 'for dummies' book on youtube a while back and that was pretty good.

The Big Nerd Ranch has one of the better books, it starts fairly basic, but assumes you know some programming.

I think your best bet is starting with books, with most book sites you can preview a lot of the book, so you can see if it's going to meet your needs.

I would recommend a book called, "Learn C on Mac"

Get some C under your belt first - it will be learning Objective - C that much easier.

Defintally do not start with the standford tutorials. The Apress book series are great. Start with "Learn C on the Mac" and work your way up to "Learn Cocoa on the mac"
