"Learn new words" app

I saw on some television show a way to learn, and use new words in conversation, whereby you have a list of 10 or so that you try to "tick off" the list.

I thought this would make a great iPhone app, and I was wondering if anybody knew of one?

If it was free, I'd be sold(maybe 99 cents). Go make it.

I wish there was a helper app for scrabble, shows you all 2 letter, 3 letter, 4 letter, etc words with definition. I may try go to the book store and see if they have such a thing. But an app would be much more convenient.
