Hi I'm learning automater to help m do repeditive tasks, but I have a question. Can I tell it so send to a folder that has not been created yet?

see my wokflow goes like this create a folder get the contents of another folder and send it to the newly created folder then unzip every file.


also part 2 of my question how do you tell automater to unzip files?

Yeah you can do that but make sure the get contents of another folder doesn't take input from create a new folder. The send function is also dependent on knowing what the new folder is going to be called. Oh and you unzip by just opening finder item.

ok but how do you input the path of the *not yet* created folder?

What version are you using (10.5 or 10.4)? They changed the interface. And is this going to be a static folder name?

10.5 and yea its going to be a static folder name.
