    Hello,
I need a nice case for my MacBook.
My 15" will arrive next week. I have a nice leathers case for my iPad Pro 12". I like this.

I wonder, if there is a good leather case out there? I have some concerns about the heat. Does a thick case could damage the MacBook?

Maybe you have some awesome picks :)
Pictures or links are always welcome.

    Thanks.

    Greetings,
    Laura

I certainly wouldn't put a MBP into a leather case! It will most likely severely impact heat dissipation and ventilation. Rather, why not use a leather sleeve for transportation?

I like leather :). Leather handbags or a nice jacket .

A leather sleeve would be ok too, but I can not find good looking sleeves or cases for the new MacBook. There are a lot of sleeves and cases for the "old" retina MacBook Pro. Even the guys from BookBook dose not have any stuff yet.

I mean, it should be long enough since the presentation right?

I like leather too but I am sure that you are not wearing leather underwear 24/7 (which is what putting a laptop into a leather sleeve would be like)

Most of them are sleeves or bags. Nothing really about the topic leather.

    So, meh.

Do you have a leather sleeve?

No, I don't see much point in sleeves. I usually just drop the laptop into the bag. And for when I commute by bicycle, I have a shock-absorbent protective Pelican hardshell.
