I have only ever had the sports band with my Apple Watches over the years. I am considering buying the leather link for £99. Is this comfortable for sleep tracking and everyday use?

I found the sports band quite hard and annoying most of the time so far, I think the loops would be the same

I use it mostly during the day and night and it is comfortable. My skin prefer it due the better breathing. For sport you need the silicone band as leather will be damaged especially if comes wet and may start to smell.

I bought the Midnight Leather Link a couple of weeks ago and I kind of regret my purchase. Initially my reviews were positive but over daily usage, I find the zone where the two straps overlaps each other is a little too stiff and rigid and it could “dig” into my wrist at times. Plus I have to wash my hands often due to work. The leather absorbs the water and it’s impossible to dry it with a towel immediately. So it does create a warm and moist environment when I wear it while it being wet, giving me slight rashes on my wrist.

Currently trying the SS Link Bracelet.

I have the leather and metal bands that I only really use for special occasions or dress up attire. They both seem comfortable but Mania89 nailed it. They both look great and fashionable but for regular daily life I find the sports bands better and more comfortable.

If you mean sport loops, then they are lighter and more comfortable than sports band.

I have the leather link too, but not gained much experience with it yet. It feels very comfortable, easily as comfortable as a sports band, but I don't quite trust the locking after the sleeves of my ski jacket managed to unlock it.

I'm a big fan of the braided solo loop. I find it the most comfortable in a wide variety of situations. I also like the solo loop, but I tend to sweat a lot under it when exercising. I don't find either the sports band or the sports loop to be all that comfortable for extended wear. I save the leather and metal bands for special occasions.

Since s4 launch I have almost exclusively used sports loop, even though it came with sports band. So I disagree about sports loop, it is comfortable for me for extended wear, in contrast with sports band. Just got a s7 titanium and are testing out other types of bands, but think I will be gravitating back to sports loop. The sports band become especially uncomfortable for me during running, compared to sports loop.

Just picked up a leather link a few days ago and find it very comfortable. I use a sport band for workouts and usually a sport loop for general use but I think the leather link will serve that purpose equally as well and add a premium look

I think it’s comfortable. I won’t wear it as my daily because I don’t want to put a ton of wear on the leather while I’m cleaning my house and working in the yard, but I like it for dressing the watch up a bit when going out.

I have a leather link I wear from time to time. After four or five months I started to notice some peeling. Don't think I would buy again. It’s a genuine Apple band… purchased from their website.

After using the leather link for daily use a few days, it is definitely very comfortable. Just a shame having to switch band for workout.

Wearing the midnight leather link for a month now for about 15-16h every day and I would say it‘s very comfortable. And it still looks like on day one.

Do you guys believe Apple bands are worth their price tag? I know and have seen some others with lookalike Chinese specials from Amazon, but I can't imagine they hold up? I'm imagining it like a cheap phone case versus a decent branded one

It’s definitely worth it. You won’t find anything even close on Amazon. The fit of the lugs and the strength of the magnets will be much worse on Amazon bands for one thing.

ah great. This is what I was hoping to hear from people who owned them. As some friends and family are literally laughing at me at the thought of spending £100 on something as a watch band
