Leather Loop Durability?

Hey all, i had some issue with Classic Buckle saddle brown band. See: Saddle Brown Classic Buckle

So, i am contemplating getting Leather Loop for my 42 SS. But, i don't want to get it and then have something go wrong with it such as leather peeling back from the edge or leather wearing thru to the plastic behind it.

Any insight into durability of Leather Loop?

While mine has lasted pretty good and looks perfect I have to confess the Classic Buckle is my choice. It looks better and makes the watch look like a watch. The loop is leather but I don't know, I feel it less formal.

There is another thing to consider: the loop has a bulge in the bottom of your wrist, where it "loops". I have to wear it with short sleeve shirts because otherwise it gets stuck in the cuff and buttons and I won't be able to read anything. It's uncomfortable with long sleeve shrits unless you have one with a big cuff. So I would reccommend to try it with a shirt like that in an Apple Store and decide.

I have had no issues with my leather loop. I have had mine since launch, and it still looks amazing.
