I never understood this argument. You can afford a phone that costs 1K but can't afford a decent case?

Well, its that they can't afford a nice case. The extra $20 is worth it to me to have the genuine Apple case, but I guess to some it isn't. Most cases retail for $30 nowadays, which is ridiculous unless its a really nice case. And when I say most cases, I'm talking Best Buy's own Rocketfish brand, just a standard clear case $30. I'll pay the extra $20 and get leather thank you.

$50 for a case doesn't seem right to me.

I do like leather, but apparently I shouldn't as I'm vegetarian. I see it as more of a by-product of the meat industry - I wouldn't buy it if they were killed specifically for the leather.

Anyway, I'm probably going to get a silicon one as my red iPad Smart Cover hasn't worn very well. It's not even a nice patina, it just looks like it's dirty. Hopefully the red silicon case will look good.
