Leather vs Silicon

How much thickness does a leather case add to an iPhone than a silicon one? I ordered the Space Grey 6 and I'm trying to decide which case will feel and protect the phone while keeping it as slim as possible

Leather is thicker, maybe twice as thick.

But it slides in/out of your pocket without resistance and isn't a lint collector so there's that.
