Hi, I've been waiting for Apple to show the new iPhone before I made my decision. So far I'm "ok" with what I see hardware wise, not totally excited as it just looks too much like previous iPhones. I hated this about my BB Bold. I'm not overly excited, but not completely against it. I also really like the One X and Galaxy S3 hardware wise. All these phones are a massive upgrade screen wise to my BB. But it will be the overall package that I'll be deciding on, and think this is the perfect subforum for some guidance. So, for those that have experience with both iOS and Android can you answer the following?
What exactly function wise does iOS do that Android can't do and vice versa? When answering this question, think of daily operations like limits of web browsing, limits of emailing, limits of mms/texting, limits of file management, and anything else you can tell me that are strong pros/cons that you think are worth mentioning. I don't care for endless Apps and how they look. I've seen both and both App Stores have what I need app wise. Thanks for all the help.

Go to a phone store and try both out, simple. Its all about preference really.

The way I see it is that if you to be able to mess with the phone go Anrdoid. If you want simple and ease of use (not saying Android isn't simple), go iOS.

I might be a bit biased since I use Android, but what I like about Android (Jelly Bean) is the ability to customize your layouts for your home screen. Including having widgets. Some people don't care for them, but I do.

Also I would be hesitant to get the iPhone 5 simply due to the fact that they have gotten lazy and kept the same design for the third time in a row. That's just lazy IMO. For that I wouldn't get get it. I'm not saying it isn't great a phone, but...

    But that's me :)
