Leaving iPad in the car

Does anyone do this ? How does it handle different temperatures of heat and coldness ? Will it break the iPad or make it not last as long ?

Apple give the temps for storage in the specs. I would not let it freeze overnight or leave it on the dash on a hot day.

I would not leave it in the car unless its between 60-70 degrees and only for short durations. Low/high temps will wreck havoc on your battery. Just not worth it.

Nope, never. Electronics like to be cool but not too cold. Is there a reason you need to leave it in the car?

A side effect of leaving an iPad in a car is a broken window...

Either put it in a very discrete seatback pocket where it's 100% HIDDEN, or take it with you. Otherwise you'll end up with a broken window and no iPad. At best, you'll have an iPad with fried components.

Yep I agree a lot but not if it is not viewable.

Agreed. Personally, I never leave my electronic devices in my car.
