When I first got my 4S, the LED would flash to alert me of a call or text. Now it doesn't. It IS turned on to flash, but nothing. My friend also has exact same problem on his IP4. We are both running IOS5.0

How to make this work again?

So even when flash is turned on for pictures it still does not work?

I would probably make a Genius Bar appointment.

This apparently is becoming more common. It works 20% of the time. Turn it off and turn it back on. It will only work for a little bit. I messed with this with my 4 and 4S

It works fine with camera, but not for incoming calls, text, or emails like it is supposed to.

Same thing happens to me with my i4. Have to toggle off and on again to make it work. Then it'll stop working again. Nice led notification, apple.

toggle it off and on to fix it. mine does it too. If its important to you, I would call apple and file a complaint to get a fix sometime.

Yeah, picking up your phone and looking at the screen to see if anyone called/text is hard.....

I'd take it in to get it checked.

I had the same problem and already spoke to apple. It's a glitch. If you turn on led flash it will work until you restart your phone. When you turn the phone back on, toggle the led notification off then back on. For some reason restarting the phone messes with it. Thought they would have fixed this in 5.0.1 .... But guess not.
