Hi all,

Over the past year, i've noticed that my left shift key doesn't work with the following letters: Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U,I,O,P. If i use the right shift key, I can make these letters CAP, but if i use the left shift key, the keys come up lower case. (I hope that made sense). Anyone know what could possibly be causing this problem? I'm sure it's hardware related, but i'm not sure what piece of hardware is causing this issue. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

Definitely a hardware issue. Is the KB under warranty?

One way to isolate the problem is to swap the keyboard with a known good KB. Yes, it's a pain, at least you would know for sure that your KB is bad and could get it replaced, if desired. A replacement KB on ebay sells for around $50.
