Do we think there is any chance Apple will ever bring back the 'legacy' watch band colors, which are no long offered for sale online? Some of them had a short shelf lifespan.

They've not done it yet, so I think it's highly unlikely. The closest they have even come to repeating is the current pebble to the older stone color.

Apple seems to refresh a lot of the Watch band colors every since months, but most of the previous colors are likely retired or replaced by a new iteration to keep the line up refreshed. Given their track record, I don't think so.

That's too bad. Most of the new colors are rather bland compared to the original line up from the first year.

I have seen them all soon. Except the original gold Watch. But yeah, black and white are the usual ones. A link bracelet now and then and milanese loop some times. A few blue or pink ones. And lots of non Apple leather.

You're talking the rubber ones?
I can't believe they dropped the Black leather loop or even the Bright blue or Storm gray leather loops too.

I was lucky and ordered the black before they discontinued. I would not be surprised to see the loop discontinued and the pretty colored bands are not for me.

Wow, I feel the opposite, the rubber ones are functional, but I prefer my black Nylon over those.
The Leather loops are excellent, not worth the orig 150 price but are nice looking, comfortable and high quality and easy to wear. I buy them on ebay from $25 to $65, many, never worn.

I actually hated the original lineup of sport bands. I was super pissed off that Apple didn't offer the black sport band with the silver Sport model. I hated all the other colors and had to go with the white one. Some of the new sport band colors are beautiful. I eventually upgraded to a SS watch that also came with a white band. Today, I wear my turquoise sport band almost every day. I love it, and I got it on clearance at walmart for $19.

Everyone should have learned by now to immediately get a band if you like it because sooner rather than later it won't be available anymore. The only "standard" bands that will probably be available indefinitely IMO are black, white and (red) sport bands, black and silver link and milanaise bands, black and pearl nylon bands and black and saddle brown classic buckles.

I wish they would bring back some of the leather loops and in other colors.. I really think they are the best of the luxury bands. at least they show up for reasonable money and in good shape on ebay often

It can take a bit of patience and searching, but you can pick up unopened new-in-box genuine bands from previous "seasons" on eBay and similar. I've bought a couple of bands this way, including the Scuba Blue woven nylon. The trick, of course, is finding them amongst all the knock off bands.

Another retailer to monitor is Walmart online. They have carried older style sport bands that have been off the market for a while now. And they sell them for approximately $20 new.

When I bought my S0 it was with the midnight blue leather loop. I've since bought a few sports bands (meh), one of the woven nylon ones (yuck) and a Milanese loop (pretty good) but I always go back to the LL. It's the most comfortable strap I've ever had on any watch. Really disappointed that Apple seem to be discontinuing this style.
