Legit Apps, still usable if JB ipod touch?

I have a 2.2 1st generation iPod Touch, now i bought a lot of games and download plenty applications "legally" now, i crave all those beautiful features of winterboard and jailbraking and stuff. I want to know if i JB'd it to a hacked firmware and pop in cydia or installer or whatever. Will i be able to use all the stuff i bought on itunes and stuff?

id use quickpwn over pwnage tool in your case as you wont have to reload all your media, which is nice
