Not enough to be worth it. 200$ price cut isn't enough as 12-core is 4999$. If they drop it to near 4000$, then it might be worth it

I got my 2008 2.8 octo at £1500 £500 off the original price within a week of the nehalem coming out.

I got my 2008 2.8 octo at £1500 £500 off the original price within a week of the nehalem coming out.

2008 octo was only 2799$ anyway, the Nehalem octo was 3299$, let alone what 2.93GHz octo is/was. If it drops to ~4300$, then it's a good deal but at least I doubt Apple drops it that much
