That is pretty cool but unfortunately, imo, this falls into the non-pro (graphic designers, musicians, engineers) category. I understand that devs are also pros, but the target audience for these laptops are missed out on. I'm impressed on the usability of the TB but only if it wasn't "priced" like a pro machine should be.

I wonder if touch bar made it through all the stages required to get into a product because a lot of Apple's senior execs can't touch type and don't appreciate the inconvenience of looking down at the keyboard.

Oh no! *pop*

Like the piano thing the other day, these are just fun little gimmicks, I don't see the problem. Good for those who made them. I quite like the Touch Bar, it's definitely the new feature I like most about the new MacBook Pros.

Wait till Apple see this... There going to say...there ruining this concept lol

It would be cool to play this on your MacBook Pro screen and then they can hide out in the touch bar like a secret tunnel. Lol

Well I'd rather have Lemmings than emojis on the touchbar. Or that Doom stats bar with bloody BJ Blazkowitz face on it, yeah!

"I paid a premium for this?"

Looks cool. Even cooler to run the original Lemmings via Amiga Forever, on my touch screen Surface Book.

Was at the Apple Store today. While launching apps is very fast on the new laptops.. they already feel dated to me.

I was just at a casino this weekend and realized that just about every single slot machine had a touch bar advertising something. Many were interactive.
Slot machines with advertising? Machines that literally only exist to take your money now also displays advertising to wring more money out of you? What a time to be alive.

Someone will figure out to display porn or pornographic images on the touch bar

So may be touch bar won't be completely bloody useless

And then the name touchbar would make sense. Now it makes complete sense to me.

Every thread someone has to say stuff like this?

And then someone will say stuff like you did. I am starting an infinite loop.

I feel like the touch bar would be better utilized if it displayed the dock. That would free up a lot of screen real estate.

Yea it kinda boggles my mind why apple didn't even include support for showing the Dock. Feels like one of the most obvious features to me.
