Since I didn't see this in a prior thread, here is the display length and width of the iPhone X vs the 8 and 8+.

The iPhone X dimensions account for the full 5.8" with no offset for the notch since the ears can technically display content like photos and video.

Orientation is portrait.

iPhone X
Height: 5.3"
Length: 2.4"

iPhone 8+
Height: 4.8"
Length: 2.7"

iPhone 8
Height: 4.1"
Length: 2.3"

Essentially the iPhone X is the length as the iPhone 8, and is obviously taller than 8 or 8+ even with the notch.

Enjoy.

If I use those schematics...

8+
H: 4.79"
L: 2.69"

X
H: 5.34" (5.14" with Notch)
L: 2.49"

8
H: 4.1"
L: 2.3"

Spent the weekend with the iXtraskinnyscreen and am SO GLAD to be back on the trusty plus BBW.

One of these is not like the other...

regardless of schematic sizes it will all come down to how an app will put the area to use.. for what I have seen and had a 7plus next to my X I opened up the instagram app for example and the plus was bigger.. makes me a bit bummed but I am sure just like when the plus models came out it took a while for all the apps to actually take advantage of the whole screen and hoping the same happens to the X.?
