Got this yesterday on a trade with my brother. Gave him my Pixelbook and cash for it. This is the top of the line Yoga 920 with the following specs:
This thing flat out screams! It’s probably one of the fastest computers I’ve used in a while. The fan kicked in a few times during hard usage and it is audible but not bad considering the power and size of the computer. During normal tasks I have not heard it. It does get warm when being pushed but nothing extreme. Unlike the Yoga 910, Lenovo made a smart move and brought back the full sized right [ shift ] key. I had the 910 and hated that key!
Can't comment on battery life yet but my brother said he got about 9 hours so I'll test battery life with Windows 10 and Linux.
The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate. I’ve not had to tap it more than once for the machine to unlock. My brother never did any updates so I needed to go through all the Windows updates and a BIOS update to get it rocking along.
Quick scores and a couple of photos:
- Core i7-8500U (8th Gen)
- 16GB DDR4 RAM @ 2400mhz
- 512 M.2 Samsung SSD
- 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) Display @ 13.9”
- 2ea USB C ports, 1ea USB A port, a headphone jack and a fingerprint reader. There is no SD card slot (bummer)

Quick scores and a couple of photos:
- Screen: 10/10 = It’s a gorgeous 4K screen.
- Keyboard: 8/10 = It’s good but not as good as the KB on my previous X1C
- Trackpad: 9/10 = It’s accurate and feels nice and smooth. It is a Microsoft precision touchpad
- SSD: 10/10 = It’s fast! See screenshot of CrystalMark test.
- Sound: 8/10 = It sounds good but since the speakers are downward firing YMMV.
- Build Quality: 9/10 = Slight screen bleed that’s only noticeable at boot. The watchband hinge is sturdy and solid. The machine feels well built with little to no flex.
