I have now decided to buy a Lenovo yoga book

I want to buy a New Tablet
And I absolutely Love Lenovo yoga book
It look like a tablet from the future out of Star Trek
I enjoyed the touch keyboard screen in Star Trek

I went to the Store and i saw both Windows and Android version
both was so smale

I have some questions

1. Should i Go Android or Windows?
I want to use it for Netflix, Internet browsing (usely use chrome for browser), Not for games
i have a bunch of purchased android apps i can redownload for free if i choose android.

2. How do i conect a mouse to Lenovo yoga book, can you give me a link to the correct cable for conect a wired mouse?

3. I see there is 2 different android lenovo yoga book tablets here
ZA0W0028ES EAN:0190151293366 and ZA0V0078ES EAN:0190151292901
what is the difference between this 2?
any upgrade that has been made
or is it only color variation (gold or grey color) or that is LTE 4G or wifi only?
can someone give me the correct code which android lenovo yoga book i should buy in shop here, spain?

4. Is it worth getting LTE 4G lenovo yoga book or should i go for Wifi only if they have both?
The tablet i have now is wifi only and i only use that one in doors
but maybe i could use the tablet outdoor on beach promenade if i had 4G LTE

5. How can i conect a Mouse and have it conected on electricity power at same time
since plugin for mouse is same as the one for electricity, not possible to use mice unless you use battery only?

Good decision! (IMO) :)

Here's a link to a thread where we talk about some practical experiences with the Yoga Book:

Lenovo Yoga Book (experiences/thoughts?)

I recommend reading it all the way through as some existing owners of the Yoga Book found the info there helpful.

The biggest decision is choosing Android vs Windows.

I have the gold Android version. I have enough experience with Windows tablets to know that they don't provide a great user experience. But it all depends upon what you intended to do with the device.

4GB RAM/64GB storage for Android is terrific. (not so much for the Windows version) I popped in a 128GB micro SD card, fantastic.

re: 2. USB Mouse. You will need a standard OTG (On-the- Go) cable. One end plugs into the micro USB port on the YB, the other end is a full USB female connector where the mouse plugs in.

re: 4. LTE. You know your needs better than anyone else. You know who much LTE capability is worth to you. For me, it has no value.

re: 5. Simultaneous USB mouse/Power. Sadly, it can't be done. The micro USB port can only be used to charge the Yoga Book OR use an accessory. Can't do both simultaneously. I use a bluetooth mouse for those times when I need a physical mouse.

Hiya
Could this OTG to microusb Hub work
To have L
https://www.tiendatr.com/hub-approx-apphm4w-4-puertos-usb-2-0-microusb-negro

I would need the Lenovo plugged into electricity same time as i have a mouse conected
and there is just one microusb plugin?
Maybe it can be done after all with this hub ?

Very important
Have you been able to Hide the Google searchbar on homescreen on Android Lenovo yoga book
it should be possible to remove?
How you do it on lenovo?
I read is just click and hide or remove, but not on all android tablets it work the same

I think i Go Android Yoga book
because i dont like the windows updates

it is not possible to use electric and plug mouse in at the same time. not even with a hub will that work.

yes, you can remove the google search widget from the screen.

Thank you
To remove the google search widget only click on it then remove right?
and to get it back just browse in apps and add widget again?

I will try to get the Hub anyway just to try if it work
in adition i buy this OTG usb to microusb
Is not Microusb Type C (which is the new one that not work on lenovo is the old)
https://www.pccomponentes.com/cable...MI8OXyyeKT2wIVDBobCh0eAgQ8EAQYASABEgKXaPD_BwE

Doesnt a Bluetooth mouse need a tiny dongle conected anyway
i have seen wireless mouses and they need a dongle conected
if they dont need a dongle at all then a bluetooth mouse could be good

happy to help. yes, that OTG cable will work. The Lenovo Yoga Book has built-in support fo bluetooth. it doesn’t need a dongle. just turn on the mouse, press the pairing button on the mouse, go to bluetooth settings on the yoga book and pair. works great!

Hello

I can't predict how well Netflix will work for you, but it works extremely well for me.

2. Is Halo keyboard on lenovo yoga book white or blue
it look blue on some videos and white on some
i was in local physical shop here and the one they had was Blue light on halo keyboard
I think there is 2 version one with blue and one with white halo keyboard
There is only one color for the Halo keyboard. On low backlight settings, it appears to have a bluish tint. When it is brighter, it is bright white.

3. I see there is 2 different android lenovo yoga book tablets here
ZA0W0028ES EAN:0190151293366 and ZA0V0078ES EAN:0190151292901

It appears that ZA0W0028ES is the WiFi+LTE model, and ZA0V0078ES is the WiFi only model. Both are gray.

I am back from the Store I purchased Android LTE 4G grey
But i am very Sad about the custumber service in the Store FNAC spain i purchased it from

I walked around inside store first looking at the tablets
and was able to try Android and windows tablets both on exposition

I then said to seller in FNAC physical store i want to purchase the android
I expected him to pick up a sealed new box of Lenovo yoga book
put it on the desk and then ask me to pay it.

I asked the seller if i could see the sealed box of lenovo tablet
before buying it so i could see the code on the backside if is correct color
Seller FNAC shop refused this
said that i have to pay for the Tablet first
then he will give me a TICKET (not the tablet at all)
and with the TICKET i go to the end of the shop and pick up the Tablet
from the reception
a very strange metod if you ask me.
Yea right no other shop nearby had the LTE version so i just acepted.
paid the tablet got the Ticket and picked up the tablet in the reception
took them 5 minutes to find the Tablet in the reception that i had paid for.

Once in reception i asked about my right to return
it if it was broken, i was not informed about this before making the purchase

Acording the law in spain i have 15 Days
to Return a Pc or Tablet if is broken to get a New similar one or refund of money
That is law

This is what Fnac shop said
I have 15 days to return Tablet Lenovo yoga book
if I dont open it and dont break the seal of the box

Yea i said but what if i open the box and the Tablet is broken
that is not my fault law give me 15 days to return faulty Pc and tablets

NO say FNAC if opened and seal broken on Lenovo yoga book
even in within first 15 days after purchase
I only have right to come to shop
and they send it to LENOVO factory for 7 days for REPAIR

Repair for a NEW LENOVO TAblet the first 15 days
if is broken and when law say custumbers have right to change it

But FNAC shop dont want abide by the law all shop have to abide by
and not want to change the Tablet or give money back
if found broken when opening the box

YEA right this made me so sad
specialy since i was not informed about this before making the purchase
They FNAC almost ruined my joy in purchase a good tablet.

Lets hope there is nothing wrong with it
because then i wont get a new one or money back
only repair from LENOVO

FNAC WORST SHOP EVER
YOGA BOOK

THIS IS WHAT THE LABEL
ON MY YOGA LENOVO BOOK STILL SEALED SAYS

LTE GUNMETAL GREY 64GB
OS ANDROID
EAN 0190151293366

IS THAT GREY COLOR
AND 4G LTE ?
[doublepost=1527115267][/doublepost]Hahaha i cant even change the Tablet android and get windows
if i want it instead i am not allowed to change it at all
FNAC shop say so
only repair by lenovo

Oh and it costed me 600 euro

Also the Gold champagne they didnt have
it is no longer in production in spain shop said
only have Gun metal grey
i hope is the correct grey color i think is only one grey for android LTE

I wanted to buy the Android tablet
in Shopping Mall El corte ingles which have a good refund policy
but the shop was sold out for LTE android tablets
only had wifi only Android and Windows lenovo yoga book.

I was thinking if to get a Wifi only android on el corte ingles
but i went to Fnac shop instead and got the Last Android LTE (new sealed)
they had left of grey lenovo yoga book
[doublepost=1527118431][/doublepost]Important question
Can i use my LTE 4G lenovo yoga book tablet
on Wifi or will it only work on LTE 4G
since i dont have a sim card yet?

I got an answer from Consumer office in Spain
about my right to change Tablets purchased in physical stores
this say theirs answer:

The right to return a tablet in shop the first 14 days
is only if purchased over internet not in physical stores
If you have purchased it in the physical store it depend what it say
on the receipt or ticket given by the store when purchased.
this mean the purchase by law you have no right to return the tablet.
if the Physical shop dont want you to return the tablet
they are not breaking any law

Aboslutely 0 Rights after purchase in spain in physical stores
if the shop dont give the rights.

This is strange.
They only apply the warranty 2 years
which is Repair by Lenovo the first 15 days is then useless
to get it changed
This is in Fnac stores in spain

this is the answer i got from consumer office about my rights.
about physical shop purchase

Ofcourse i have not opened the Lenovo yoga book yet
i was tired yesterday and came home from 1 hour travel
to big city to purchase the tablet
but if i open it i can not change it that is so sad
i only have repair right from lenovo

I would suggest not to open it and re consider non LTE Win10 version

Firstly you can use WiFi or LTE separately but you could also tether to your smartphone for the odd occasion you may use it away from WiFi

Personally the Halo KB drove me nuts but using a BT mouse may help as it was mainly the tap to activate the trackpad got on my nerves

If I want an Android I think the Samsung S3 with KB and pen is easier and more fluid but if you need something specific to Win10 then the Yoga Book for it's foot print etc is a neat little device although I never used the drawing pad part

To Steve i find android more apealing over windows tablet
i had a look of them in the shop
the Windows version is not LTE only android have LTE?
Only wifi version exist of the yoga book windows ?

I went for android because i found out that windows was a bit slower
than android since lenovo yoga book windows use a processor that was meant for android
this and that i had to keep updating and i dont like windows update.

but realy i think is the same android or windows on a tablet
is just 2 ways of doing the same thing.

I was just pointing out if you do not use the Yogo off wifi very often then tethering it to your smartphone for LTE use works for both Android or W10 so no need for the LTE version

W10 maybe a bit slower if your using a full blown prog opposed to an app but browsing and netflicks and dailies like email not really an issue

If you do not need the potential to run a full W10 prog and can manage with just Android apps then that's fine but for me doing the occasion bit of work was possible :)

At a similar price point was the 12" Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 3 with amoled display which is much more capable

thanks my mobile phone is broken so i need a new one so thats why i got a LTE tablet
instead of wifi since price variation was so little between wifi only and LTE.

Do you know if i can use Notepad and Wordpad notes on android?
and if i can use wifi on LTE until i get a phonecard?
i havent opened the tablet yet
so i can still go for a wifi only but i must check price with shop

You do not need a sim card in for it to use WiFi

Wordpad and notes can be exported as straight txt file as a minimum I suspect there is an app or even if you install Word from MS you should be fine :)

I played around with a yoga book and for the price and what it was thought it was a great notebook/tablet.
I doubt I would ever have use for the tablet mode or tablet function. I like the MacBook laptops which I will probably switch back to Apple.
