Is your camera lens flush against the plastic or does it stick out a little bit?

Mine is recessed.

I bought a 3G on the 11th and it was defective, so I returned it and they promptly gave me a replacement. From what I remember of the first iPhone, the camera lens was smooth and flush against the back. Now the lens o-ring sticks out a little and is no longer smooth, sleek, and flush.

Should I return this one??😕
