i REALLY hope the education price of Lepoard is still $69, which is what Tiger was... however, the increase in education prices of iWork and iLife ($49-->$71) has me very worried...

Can't justify spending $129 bucks on an OS. But I can justify spending $2,500 on a new MacPro WITH Leopard on it. lol

$129 is a bargain compared to Windows Vista to get all the features of Mac OS X in Vista you have to get premium.

I just ordered Leopard from the online education store. It was a whole $13 discount ($116). Oh well, I used my iPhone coupon and ordered the family pack.

I was really hoping it would be less than $100, so I could get that for my MBP and upgrade my wife's MBP later after I determined it was stable enough for her.

Between this and iLife/iWork earlier, it seems educ. discounts are getting crappier.

I remember the days where Apple hardware was really expensive but educ. discounts were awesome, like 60% or so off retail.

Ordered my copy this morning, but bit concerned by the shipping date "Ships by 26th"

does that mean it'll arrive at my house on the 26th, or they will just ship it on the 26th?

Would like this clarified, as like most of us here, i'm dead excited about getting my grubby mits on the big cat! 😀

Hmm...unless I'm mistaken, I thought Amazon was selling it for $129.99 this morning. Now, it changed to $109.99 with no rebates therefore I couldn't pass it up.
