Leopard Address Book: Skype IM option?...

    A little question: Does Leopard Address Book now give Skype as an IM option?

    Or can one put in a custom IM?

    If not this is a really bad restriction.

    Did they ever implement a way to add Skype contact address info to an address book entry? Seems like a glaring deficiency to not allow for other IM types.

    That's not what's needed. It's non-standard. And doesn't work for plugins like Plaxo. We need Apple to open up a smidgen and formally add Skype and others to the IM options. Better still let this be a fully custom field.

    The address book is shocking with its lack of gtalk and skype support in fields...

    it has sync with gmail but not the ability to add gtalk buddies? Useless.
