i'm at a university and connect to the network "UniversityNet" when i'm on campus. subsequently, it has been added to my list of preferred networks.

i just got home now, and as usual there are lamer computers trying to pass off as actual wifi networks (i'm assuming to try to connect to your computer and snoop around, right?). anyways, once i turned on my wireless on my powerbook, it automatically connected to a device's "UniversityNet" wifi connection.

i don't think this could've done anything when i connected, right? i don't have sharing or anything like that enabled.

and finally, to the point: why can't leopard differentiate from actual wifi networks and those that are under "devices" that try to have the same SSID name??? tiger didn't do this before with these lame joker computers.
