Anyone know how to get Filemaker Server 7 to work with Leopard? I've tried everything, but it keeps hanging up. Then I tried to download the trial version of FM Server 9 and it did the same thing! My company relies heavily on FM Server and I need to get it to work again!

Thanks in advance.

1) FileMaker has already announced that it is *not* compatible with Leopard but it will be by November 19th.

2) If your company "relies heavily" on FM Server, then changing the OS without bothering to check whether it would work was a really bad idea.

Seriously, this kind of thing will get you fired if you are in fact the guy managing the FM sever for the company and justifiably so.

Your only option here is to roll back to the pervious server.

(Now tell me that you have no backups to roll back to. :) )

It may be a security issue

Try using Pseudo to launch the Filemaker Server installer as root. Then, try to run FM Server as root. This may be an acceptable workaround. And ditto to what the previous poster said.
