wow..i really wish i had time machine right about now. Lost very very important notes for class. great.
 
That sux. I've done that countless times!

As for leopard, yes. It can come soon enough. RIGHT NOW!!!

Been there before, only instead of notes it was Photoshop files on Syquest discs. Terrible stuff.
 
Get an external HD and automate a daily backup. Mine goes off whilst I sleep. Leopard won't help you if your drive takes a dump.

how did it happen? i've never had any problems losing data. please tell us what happened so we can be prepared
 
i simply trashed the document then emptied the trash. i'm an idiot and a compulsive trash emptier. it's nothing wrong with osx, haha.

Been there, done that, feel your pain.
 
I wonder if we have to wait for the next Apple event for Leopard to show? Anyone have a good idea if thats so or when it will be released?
