Just noticed that you're Leopard countdown is a little biased. It is completely incorrect for anyone that isn't in the eastern timezone.

Should be made clearer or at least countdown to the official premiere of Leopard, for some reason I've got leaflets from the Tiger release and it states that the UK had the "world premiere" of Tiger. So maybe a count down to the UK release...?

Where are the majority of Leopard sales going to come from on release day? That might be a better way to decide the counter.

It would be cool to have a clock system like you see in fancy hotels, with New York, London etc. all together, so you can watch as the various countries get Leopard one after another.

I guess it could be a rolling counter, as every time zone nears the counter switches.

heh... good point. I'm used to these events being non-timezone dependant.

I'll clarify it somehow

For me, Apple's countdown timer is in Pacific time. Is this the case for everyone else, or is Apple's timer location dependent?

The countdown on Apple.com is location dependent. Well actually just grabs the time from your computer. Wonder what happens if you set the date to the 27th October....

I just did it. The counter goes down to 0 and then stays like that. I refreshed the page and the counter didn't show up.
