Leopard desktop background changer

I use the desktop background in leopard and the bar at the top of the page has a visual glitch, especially if it is set to change every 5 seconds. It may be because of my vram i don't know I only have 32 mb... any ideas
its just a little annoying. I have 10.5.2 and the graphics update too.

Menu bar flashes and gets sort of pixelated.

I just tried it out on my C2D Mac Mini 1.83 and didn't have any problems even when the pix I chose were over 5 mgb apiece.

My roommate thinks its VRAM as well so thats probably it, thanks for checking.
