I have an intel mac pro with tiger on it. It recently showed up that I needed to repair my hd, in disk utilities. For some reason my tiger DVD install disk is missing. I have tried using the G5 install tiger disk but doesn't work on the intel chip.

We won't be upgrading to leopard soon, but I have a Leopard disk at home. Will I be able to run the leopard's disk utility from the CD from a forced boot and not install leopard?

Will This jack my system? Anyone try this?

Thanks in advance.
